WE CALL UCC (2018)
WE CALL is a multi-iteration wall-text work. The text highlights some of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TAC) of Canada's Calls to Action, released in June 2015. For this iteration at the Upper Canada College in Toronto, I worked collaboratively to develop a site-specific work. In conversation with students and teachers we developed a set of community endorsed response to the Calls. WE CALL was funded by BC Arts Council and the Canada Council. In 2017, two versions of this work were produced at Simon Fraser University's Teck Gallery (2017-2018), and the Gitxsan Wet'suwet'en Education Society (GWES), in Hazelton.
