WE ARE SORRY (2009)

This is the folder for Busby's 2009 Yukon Arts Centre exhibition which featured SORRY, made up of 22 recent apology mouth images and a scaled down version of WE ARE SORRY, which had gone up as part of the Laneway Commissions public art program in Melbourne, Australia, in July of that year. 

Both works use public apologies as a medium to shed light on the spectacle of this contemporary ritual and mark the importance of post-apology follow through in calls towards reconciliation.
