Steve’s Sheet Music (2016)
"Steve’s Sheet Music" is a multi-page work included in the class book made during the Art History and Visual Arts (AHVA) course, Printed Matter, taught by Cathy Busby and Garry Neill Kennedy at the University of British Columbia in 2016.
For this spread Busby photocopied the covers of her late brother Steve's sheet music booklets, the source material for many sibling duets growing up. Focusing on the music she remembered singing most fondly, Busby centre's these songs as a memorial, indexing moments of enjoyment through this remnant of her and her brothers childhood together.
