MAKING THE INVISIBLE VISIBLE (2016)
In Making the Invisible Visible, Busby interviews five artists who were part of Uwe Derksen's Interregional Culture-led Regeneration (ICR) project which focused on art schools and their practices in France and the UK, and was based at the University of the Creative Arts in Farnham, England.
Created as a resource for prospective students, this book provides an overview of the practices of a group of professors whose work aligned with the socio-political and ecological issues addressed by the ICR partnership project. Busby interviewed Nicholas Floc'h, Heiko Hansen (of HeHe), Anthony Heywood, Julie Morel, and Shelly Sacks, speaking to each about their innovative methods of teaching/learning and art making practices within the context of the contemporary ecological and economic climate. This book gives insight into their international, interdisciplinary practices at that time.
